The beneficiaries of the Expert Hands in Rural Development Project may be given additional time if they cannot complete their project within 60 days from the date of signing the grant contract.

The Communiqué on Supporting Expert Hands Projects in Rural Development within the Scope of Rural Development Supports prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.

The Communiqué was issued in line with the Presidential Decision on the Amendment of the Decision on Supporting Expert Hands in Rural Development within the Scope of Rural Development Supports.

With the relevant Decision, the grant amount of 100 thousand liras was increased to 250 thousand liras in expert hands projects, and within the scope of the Vocational and Technical Education Cooperation Protocol between the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Ministry of National Education, it provides training in the fields of agriculture, animal breeding and health, laboratory services and food technology under the Ministry of National Education. Graduates from high school and equivalent schools were also included in the project.

With the Communiqué, additional time was given to the beneficiary who could not complete the project within 60 days from the date of signing the grant contract, while changes were made in the sub-topics of the project. Whether the provinces are within the scope of the Urban Agriculture Action Plan is also included in the budget coefficient calculation. A regulation was made regarding the evaluation of projects only through the system.

OPPORTUNITY OF APPLICATION TO RURAL NEIGHBORHOODS

In the Communiqué, "The Law on the Establishment of Metropolitan Municipalities and Twenty-Six Districts in Thirteen Provinces and Amending Some Laws and Decrees" states that although normally rural areas and populations are less than 20 thousand, places that lose their rural character in the metropolitan borders are excluded from the scope of support, and metropolitan municipalities The concept of "rural neighborhood" was added in order to ensure that people who want to implement projects in rural settlements within its borders can also apply.

GRANT SUPPORT OF 250 thousand TL PER PROJECT WILL BE PROVIDED

Within the scope of the Expert Hands Project, it is aimed to provide 81 thousand lira grant support to 2 thousand 500 projects in 250 provinces this year. Applications for expert hands projects will begin after the publication of the current application guide linked to the communiqué.
