Iskenderun Port Fire Extinguished

The General Directorate of Maritime Affairs of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure reported that the fire in Iskenderun Port was extinguished and the containers were sorted one by one in the area.

The statement made on the social media account of the General Directorate of Maritime Affairs is as follows:

“The fire in Iskenderun Port has been extinguished and more than a thousand containers are separated one by one in the area. The rehabilitation of our port will begin immediately. In the region, Iskenderun Regional Port Authority provides services on a routine basis and maritime activities have started.”
