The Ministry of Family and Social Services announced that the identities of 106 unaccompanied children who were removed from the rubble could not be determined.

Announcing that 1405 unaccompanied children who were brought out of the rubble were handed over to their families with identity verification, the Ministry of Family and Social Services announced that the identity of 106 earthquake victims could not be determined.

The statement made by the ministry is as follows:

“Our 1890 unaccompanied children who were brought out of the rubble have been registered. After the identity check and verification of the applicants, 1405 children were handed over to their families, and 105 of our children were taken into institutional care by our ministry after their treatment. The ongoing treatment process of our 380 children in hospitals is closely followed. We have 1784 children who have been identified and 106 children whose identity has not yet been determined.”
