The 5 international agreements approved by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were published in the Official Gazette.

According to the "Agreement on Granting Grants in the Field of Health" signed between Turkey and Ukraine on March 28, Turkey will donate 410 items of medical supplies and medicines in various doses and amounts to the Ukrainian side as a gesture of goodwill and friendship.
Ukraine will not be able to donate these products to a third party without Turkey's permission.

Double taxation avoidance treaty with Iraq

In the agreement signed with Iraq on December 17, 2020 in order to avoid double taxation and to prevent tax evasion, the provisions will apply to income and corporate tax in Turkey, and to the tax levied on income, real estate and income of foreign companies that make contracts in Iraq.

Citizens of the other country who have a workplace, company headquarters or a construction site for more than 12 months in one of the countries will pay their taxes in the country where the workplace and construction site are located.

Those who earn real estate income in the other country, including agriculture, forestry and fishing, will also pay taxes according to the legislation in the country where the real estate income is located.

The tax on the income obtained by the company in one of the contracting countries from the commercial enterprises made in the other contracting country will also be paid in this country.

However, international trade by ship, plane and land will be taxed in the country where the company is headquartered.

Cooperation in the field of defense with Uganda and Ivory Coast

According to the "Defense Industry Cooperation Agreement" signed between Turkey and Ivory Coast on February 29, 2016, the parties are eligible for joint research, development, production and modernization of spare parts, tools, defense materials, military systems, technical demonstrations and technical equipment they need. will cooperate in the field of ensuring the conditions.

Parties that will also exchange information on the defense industry standards used will be able to sell or exchange surplus defense industry products and services in the inventory in accordance with their legal regulations.

The two countries will also cooperate on joint production and fairs.

Another international agreement approved in the field of defense industry was the “Military Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding Between Turkey and Uganda” signed with Uganda on June 1, 2016.

According to the agreement, cooperation will be made in 16 different areas such as military training, defense industry, participation in exercises and training, non-combat operations, personnel exchange, combat, electronic information systems and cyber defense.

With the “Host Country Agreement on Rights, Privileges and Immunities of EİTEE between Turkey and the Educational Institute of the Economic Cooperation Organization (EİTEE)”, the EİTEE president, members and the institution's responsibilities towards the host Turkey are determined, while Turkey's head of the EİTEE, Members, employees, buildings, bank accounts and obligations related to security were listed.
