İsmail Demir, President of the Presidency of Defense Industries, met with television and newspaper representatives in Ankara to convey the 2021 evaluation and 2022 projects. Describing the targets for 2022, SSB President Demir announced that the Mini UAV-D systems developed and produced by Baykar Teknoloji and STM's Mini UAV LAGs with Ammunition Release will be put into use for the first time.
Bayraktar Mini Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System is Turkey's first mini robot aircraft system with completely original and nationally developed electronic, software and structural components. The system, which was developed with the intense work and effort of Baykar Defense R&D team, passed all tests successfully and was first put into service of the Turkish Armed Forces in 2007.
