The signage survey, which is the stage of the project "An Ankara Project: Ankara on the Street", prepared by the working group formed by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality under the coordination of the Police Department and within the Ankara City Council, in order to give the capital a corporate identity, has been concluded.
17 thousand 605 people participated in the survey organized by the Metropolitan Municipality for the selection of new avenues and street signs unique to Başkent through Başkent Mobil in order to eliminate the visual pollution caused by advertising signboards and totems and to revitalize the values unique to the Capital. As a result of the survey, in which the jury previously determined the designs that made it to the top three in the competition, the people of Ankara decided on their own street signs.
STREET SIGNBOARDS WILL NOW BE RED
'Design A', which is predominantly red, white and black striped, came first with 7 votes in the survey conducted to give Ankara's avenues and streets a contemporary identity and submitted to voting through the "Right to Speak" module in the Başkent Mobile application.
