Metro Istanbul, an affiliate of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), came together with Karadeniz Ereğli Municipality to examine the field of Göztepe Cable Car Project. He exchanged information about the project with General Manager Özgür Soy, who went to Ereğli, and Mayor of the company, Halil Posbıyık.

Giving a briefing about the drawn project, Metro Istanbul Deputy General Manager Responsible for Projects Fatih Gültekin said, “The project was drawn between Amphitheater and Göztepe. "The places where the legs of the project will be placed have been determined, with a length of 452 meters, 4 cabins, 8 people in each cabin, with a capacity of 512 passengers per hour and an arrival time of 2 minutes 54 seconds."
