The strike decision

İzbanda strike decision: The backbone of İzmir transportation, the management of İZBAN and Demir-Yol İş Trade Union could not agree on the collective agreement, and decided to strike. Izmir Suburban employees 8 will strike at 4 on November morning.
IZBAN, the backbone of Izmir transportation, is going on strike on November 8 with its employees.
There are 305 members of Demir-Yol-İş Union affiliated to Türk-İş in İZBAN. Over 100 workers receive military wages. The rest of the workers receive a salary above the military wage.
The union sat at the table with the management demanding a raise. However, this request was not accepted by the Izban administration.
Before the strike, the union administration will again knock on the door of the IZBAN administration. If there is no decision to raise the negotiations, İZBAN employees will start to strike in November.
340 personnel, including mechanics, technicians, operators, accountants, box office officers, will not be working from 4: 00 until morning.
