UIC-RAME Meeting was held

UIC -RAME Meeting was held in Udra: 9, the UIC member of the International Railways Association, brings together the 15 railway company of the country. UIC Middle East Regional Council (RAME) Meeting was held on 15 May 3 in Jordan Dead Sea.

TCDD General Manager Yildiz was elected as President of the UIC Middle East Regional Board (RAME).

In his speech, Ömer Yıldız, who was elected as RAME chairman, as the General Director of TCDD and Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated that the Middle East Region has become an active region with investments made in the field of railway.

Stating that Iran has already been actively monitoring its ongoing rail transport, as well as its connection with its neighbors, as in the case of the latest Turkmenistan connection, Yıldız said that in addition to the high-speed connection of sacred sites in Saudi Arabia, he said.

”Railway Sector is gaining importance in the region“
