Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality has brought transportation to life

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality has contributed to the transportation: 36 new bus purchased by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality was organized for the promotion program.
Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Çelik, former Metropolitan Mayor and candidate of AK Party Kayseri Deputy Mehmet Özhaseki, guests and citizens attended the program held in Cumhuriyet Square. Speaking after the National Anthem, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Çelik said, “As you know, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality has made the system of lifting minibuses that others cannot even imagine. He then collected and recorded the revenues in a common pool. Other big cities, which still cannot attempt to do these things, cannot afford. We are continuing our work on this issue as the first municipality in Turkey. We bought 37 new buses. We had bought 22 before. The number of buses we have taken since the beginning of the year is 77. In order to meet our needs in public transportation, we will have natural gas and environmentally friendly buses into the system. In addition, we bought 30 rail system vehicles. These will be implemented gradually from the beginning of the year until the end of the next year. "We have temporarily bought 8 vehicles owned by Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality so that we can meet our urgent needs until we put them into action."

Mehmet Özhaseki, former Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and candidate for AK Party Kayseri Deputy, stated that they carried out exemplary applications in public transportation and said, “We have worked hard to bring the rail system to Kayseri. Even though we did not ask for money stamps during the tripartite coalition period, they did not even allow it. With Abdullah Gül Bey as the prime minister, the way was opened for the rail system, and we finally brought the rail system to the city, which the three presidents before me tried to do. Now we have a public transportation system in which the rail system on the main axle and natural gas public buses run on the fish lines. Here we apply the pool system for the first time in Turkey. Thus, both municipality and public bus drivers got a fair and equal share of the profits. In this way, work was done in public peace. This also increased the quality ”.

After the speeches, Temsa General Manager Dinçer Çelik was presented a plaque of thanks to the Mayor Mustafa Çelik with a model bus and key. The program ended with the inspection of the protocol buses and the city tour accompanied by Mayor Çelik and the municipal authorities.
