High-speed train uneasiness in Sapanca: The uncertainty in the 2nd stage works of the High Speed Train makes the citizens living in Sapanca nervous.
Tesa Real Estate official and real estate consultant Emre Çelik said in a statement to Sapanca Newspaper that the route of the second stage of the YHT is constantly changing, and that this makes the citizens who have a house or land in the region anxious.
Emphasizing that many changes have been made since the initial plans regarding the said train line, Çelik said, “When the YHT was first heard, it was said that it would pass over the existing train station route and expropriated in line with this route. In the studies carried out since that day, the route has been changed continuously and every changing route has created anxiety for the citizens living in the district. " he spoke.
Indicating that the train route has changed again, but that the municipal plans have not yet been processed, Çelik said:
“The old route still appears in the 1/1000 scale development plans of Sapanca Municipality. However, we know that this route has changed. The last plan made after this change was suspended 1 month ago and recently completed the suspension period. Although the latest plans prepared and suspended removes some uncertainties, citizens experience the hesitation that the plans may change again, and this makes the citizens who have real estate near the route uneasy. On the other hand, the fact that the second phase of the high-speed train construction has not started still delays the construction of the station, which is announced to be built in Sapanca. Since this station cannot be built, the train does not stop in Sapanca, and the townspeople suffering from the work do not benefit from this service.
