Balıkesir to be equipped with Demirağlarla

Balıkesir will be equipped with railways: Ahmet Edip Uğur, Mayor of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, received a briefing from DDY İzmir Regional Directorate within the scope of projects and ongoing works related to rail systems from the State Railways. Metropolitan Mayor Uğur stated that the button was pressed for the implementation of the Balıkesir Rail System (BALRAY) line, which is known as 'suburb' in public.

Selim Koçbay, 3rd Region Manager of DDY İzmir, gave detailed information to Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Edip Uğur within the scope of the works to be carried out on the rail networks in the city center and its surroundings, and in the master projects prepared by the Metropolitan Municipality. It was reported that the button was pressed for the rail system application, which is one of the election promises of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Ahmet Edip Uğur.

'BALRAY' BEGINS BETWEEN TERMINAL - CAMPUS

At this point, President Uğur stated that the project studies are continuing in Ankara in connection with the General Directorate of State Railways. Ahmet Edip Uğur said that the 'BALRAY' application, known as the 'suburban' line in Balıkesir public will be integrated with the works of the Public Transportation System, and this line is planned to expand in the direction of Yenimahalle (TOKİ). It was reported that the necessary project studies for the extension of the existing İzmir-Bergama rail system, which is planned to facilitate the increased traffic flow with the revival of tourism in the Gulf region, from Ayvalık to Altınoluk, will be completed in a short time with the support of Ankara in this line. During the meeting held in the office of the Metropolitan Municipality, DDY Regional Manager Koçbay and his team, and the general secretary and department heads from the Metropolitan Municipality were also present.
