Almanya‘da 1989 yılında bir Ar-Ge şirketi olarak kurulan “Bozankaya”, 1997 yılında Salzgitter’deki dünyaca ünlü bir otobüs üreticisi için şase ve gövde üretimine başlamıştır. 2003’te Ankara’da Bozankaya A.Ş. ve Graepel Bozankaya şirketleri kurulmuş, 2005’te ise yine dünyaca ünlü bir marka ile partner olarak Raylı Sistemleri Metro Projesi için Sacramento - Amerika’da faaliyete geçmiştir. 2007 yılında Enerji alanında yatırım yapan ve HES projeleri oluşturan Bozankaya Grubu, 2010 yılında kendi otobüsünü tasarlayıp üretmek amacıyla TCV’yi kurmuştur.
2013 Eylül ayında Avrupa’nın en yüksek teknolojili Solar Panel üreticisi olan ve 1993 yılında kurulmuş olan Alfa-Solar firmasını bünyesine dahil eden Bozankaya Grubu, Toplu Taşımacılık ve Enerji sektöründe dünya çapında projeler üreten bir teknoloji merkezi haline gelmiştir. Raylı sistem araçlarında gövde ve şasinin önemi, lastik tekerlekli bir araca göre kat kat daha yüksektir. Raylı Sistemler konusunda eşzamanlı olarak yürüyen aktüel işlerimize baktığımızda Bozankaya GMBH; Üç büyük Alman raylı sistem araç üreticisine tramvay, metro gövdesi üretmekte, akülü tramvay projemiz için akü ve akü yönetim sistemi geliştirmektedir.
