İZBAN presentation film case in the expert impasse

The expert stalemate in the İZBAN promotional film trial: The expert reports regarding the İZBAN promotional film, in which the eyes were turned before the 25th hearing of the İzmir Metropolitan Case to be held on February 2014, 8, was once again in a stalemate.
While the reports expected to change the course of the case did not reach 8 January, as determined by the tribunal, the expert review is expected to be completed by February 5, which will clarify whether the promotional film is publicly damaged.

The expert reports to be presented to the court committee at the 130th hearing to be held on February 25, 2014 of the case, which started with a total of 8 defendants, including İzmir Metropolitan Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu and senior municipal bureaucrats, remained in the middle. The İZBAN promotional film, which was decided to catch up with the next hearing of the case at the İzmir 8th Heavy Penal Court, was not expected again in the expert reports requested about whether there was a public harm or not, and this time the new date was set as February 5, 2014.

The expert crisis continues in the Metropolitan Trial, in which İzmir Metropolitan Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu and the municipal bureaucrats who have been detained for a long time continue to be tried on charges of being a gang leader and with a record 397 years of imprisonment. Days before the 28th hearing of the case, held on 2013 November 7, in line with the request of the court committee, the Istanbul 16th High Criminal Court had been asked to act as an expert by force of the five-person delegation selected from among the lecturers at Marmara University. After these developments, eyes turned to the reports of the new expert panel on January 8, 2014, but the expected did not happen again, and an extension was requested for the reports.
EXPERT REVIEW COMPLETED
5 of the 4 instructors who were forced to be experts from the university completed their examinations and expressed their opinions for the expert report requested from them, while the remaining faculty member stated that they could not complete their studies and asked for additional time. The Istanbul 16th High Criminal Court, which evaluated the request upon this development, gives an additional time until February 5, 2014, while the examination of the İZBAN promotional film will determine whether there is a public harm or not and the expert report will be completed.
WILL IT BE THE LAST PERIOD IN HISTORICAL CASE?
In a statement last month, President Aziz Kocaoğlu gave a signal that the case would be closed and eyes were turned to the 8th hearing. On the other hand, the defense authorities are expected to submit their requests for the closure of the case by requesting acquittal on behalf of all of the defendants, who have been found not guilty in the other charges in the indictment and whose trial continues pending trial by removing all of the judicial measures against them. If the expert's findings regarding the İZBAN promotional film are positive, the date of the 8th hearing may be the last act in the case.
