Edirne-Ankara YHT Project

İstanbul-Kapıkule YHT project was canceled. However, after the 3rd bridge is built in the Bosphorus, it will come to the agenda again. For now, it is only an unspoken and unclear topic. But it will necessarily be done. The designed route is as follows:

• The line starts from Kapıkule Customs Gate. Following E5 parallel to the south, he will go straight to Edirne Train Station, then to Babaeski and then to Lüleburgaz.
• The line going from Lüleburgaz to the north is to Büyükkarışleyen, and from there, Çerkezköywill reach. ÇerkezköyAfter the straight line reaches Çatalca, it will advance to Sazlıdere Dam.
• After Sazlıdere Dam, trains whose target is Istanbul descend south and Halkalıwill go to. Passengers will reach the other parts of Istanbul from the south by Marmaray trains and these trains will Halkalıwill go from Gebze to.
• The trains that will go to Ankara HalkalıHe will not go down to Sazlıdere and will go north by leaving his scissors.
• Arriving at Garipçe, the train will cross Poyrazköy using the 3rd bridge of the Bosphorus. This bridge will be two floors as the lower floor railway and the upper floor highway.
• The line descending straight south after Poyrazköy will follow TEM from the north for a while after arriving in Dilovası.
• After wandering Izmit and Sapanca Lake from the north, he will descend to Arifiye.
• After going straight from Arifiye to Akyazı, it will go in the direction of Akyazı-Mudurnu-Beypazarı-Ayaş-Sincan in the southeast direction.
• Passengers who want to get off in Sincan will move to Başkentray and other parts of Ankara. Başkentray will work between Sincan and Kayaş. But trains coming from Edirne or Istanbul with this new road will go to Ankara Station after Sincan.

NOT1: New stations and stations will be made at the points I marked on the map.

NOTE4: New railways will be constructed, leaving Kırklareli from Babaeski and leaving Tekirdağ from Büyükkarışleyen. Some trains will also go here (Edirne-Tekirdağ, Istanbul-Tekirdağ, Ankara-Tekirdağ, Ankara-Kırklareli, Istanbul-Kırklareli).

Personal note: Istanbul North Railway and Adapazarı-Tekirdağ motorway will slaughter all forests, but will be done if we want or not. I hope that the services we will receive are worth losing our forests.
