Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented applications that make the lives of students easier in the capital, has undertaken a brand new project.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who announced the work carried out in the BAKOM building in Ulus with a post on his social media accounts, said, “We have started the transformation for a technological and modern Ankara. After Genç Akademi Cafe Sıhhiye, we have now pushed the button for the 1500 square meter Genç Akademi Ulus project. "Our center, which has many features such as an exhibition area, cafeteria, music studio, multi-purpose event area, individual and joint work areas, art and workshop island, will be the new address of the people of the Capital City," he said.

Following the completion of the comprehensive renovation and repair works initiated in the BAKOM building in Ulus, the Capital will have a new generation youth center.

Young Academy Ulus will have an area of ​​1500 square meters; exhibition area, cafeteria, music studio, multi-purpose event area, individual and joint work areas with and without sound, yoga-reformer pilates area with hammock, fashion design studio, painting studio, ceramics studio, billiards, modular work units, playgrounds and presentation areas. will occur.

TRANSPORTATION WILL NOT BE A PROBLEM

Genç Akademi Ulus also offers easy transportation as it is a 5-minute walk from Ulus Square, the historical center of Ankara, and is located right next to the metro exit.

The building, whose facade overlooks the Ankara State Theatre, and which also contains the works of ceramic artist Serap Akacarlı, is preserved with a renewed version of its focus theme for young people.

The academy, which has many features that will make young people feel at home under the same roof, has a reconfigurable exhibition area at the main entrance and a cafeteria that becomes lively with seating areas with swings. The mini lecture hall is both a place to study while drinking coffee and a place where students can relax when they take a break.

ART LOVERS WILL MEET ON ART ISLAND

The art island, which forms the heart of Genç Akademi Ulus, will bring together art lovers in a wide range of areas, from fashion design studios to painting studios, from ceramics studios to group work areas. The building also includes a multi-purpose amphitheater and macro event area; It will also allow students to find environments, books and resources related to school courses in special study sections.
