Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues to provide services to elderly and disabled individuals within the framework of its social municipality approach. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which provides house cleaning and self-care services under the umbrella of Home Care to individuals who are in need due to old age, disability or illness and do not have a relative to meet their needs, supported the citizens with home care services during Ramadan. In this context, cleaning services were provided to nearly 600 houses before the holiday.
The home care services of the Department of Health and Social Services, which accelerated its work before the Eid al-Fitr, carried out detailed cleaning work for approximately 600 households across the province. As part of the work, the floors were swept and wiped, and windows, tables, doors and frames were dusted. In addition, cleaning work was carried out in the kitchen, toilet and bathrooms. Our elders, who will have the peace of mind to welcome their guests during Ramadan Feast, were very pleased with the service.

Before Eid al-Fitr, cleaning work was carried out at the house of 70-year-old Kemal Gümüş, who lives in Gölcük. Kemal Gümüş, who went through a difficult and troublesome process after his wife's illness, said, “My wife has been ill for 2 years and has been sleeping at home. I receive patient transfer service, self-care and house cleaning services from the Metropolitan Municipality. I am very pleased with this service of the Metropolitan Municipality, may God bless you.
