Izmir AKS Ambulance Service Team Saved Lives in Konya

AKS Ambulance Service, affiliated with Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, received a traffic accident report near Konya after transporting a patient to Niğde. Medical personnel quickly took action and treated the victims.

112 Emergency Rescue Health (AKS) Ambulance Service, which was established within the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department and is the first ambulance service in Turkey with the status of a specially equipped ambulance with search and rescue equipment, knows no limits in service. After referring a patient to Bor district of Niğde, the team set out to return to Izmir and saved the lives of other patients in Konya. The team, which included specially trained paramedics, was informed by the 112 Emergency Call Center that there was a traffic accident on the Aksaray - Konya road. AKS Ambulance Service, close to the scene, responded to 3 people injured in the one-sided accident. After first aid, the injured were taken to AKS Ambulance to be transferred to the hospital. One injured person, who was in serious condition, was handed over to the 112 medical team that met them on the road. The other injured people were treated at Konya Selçuk University Hospital Emergency Service.
