E-KPSS Course and Exam Anxiety Seminars in Samsun

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality continues to touch the lives of disabled individuals with its work in the field of social municipality. In this context, the free E-KPSS course opened by the Disability Services Unit for disabled citizens continues. During this process, seminars are organized for candidates to take the exam to help them cope with exam stress and anxiety.

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to ensure that disabled individuals have equal opportunities and to increase employment opportunities. The free E-KPSS course launched in this context is carried out with intense participation. The program aims to increase employment opportunities of disabled individuals by focusing on their learning needs and exam strategies and supporting their individual development. In the courses organized at Mavi Işıklar Education, Recreation and Rehabilitation Center in cooperation with Canik Public Education Center, students are grouped according to their disability types and receive training four days a week. Before the exam to be held on April 28, candidates are also given seminars at certain periods to help them cope with exam stress and anxiety. In the seminar given by an expert psychologist, candidates are informed about the emotional states they experience and how they can cope with situations such as stress and anxiety.

Providing information about the study, Metropolitan Municipality Social Services Department Disabled Services Unit Supervisor Çağla Yücel said, “As Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Disabled Services Unit, our E-KPSS course continues rapidly. We currently have 53 students. Our students attend classes four days a week. Our E-KPSS course will continue until the exam, within the scope of studies for the participation, adaptation and employment of our disabled citizens in social life. During the period until the exam, our E-KPSS students are provided with dietician, psychologist and physiotherapy services. We also offered our students the opportunity to purchase test books. "We are always there to meet all the needs and demands of our disabled individuals," he said.
