Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya made a statement on his social media account.
According to the information provided by Minister Yerlikaya, a total of 201 operations were carried out against organized crime organizations, 8 suspects were caught, 260 of them were arrested, and a judicial control decision was given for 3 of them.

As a result of the operations, suspects who are members of an organized crime group engaged in forward vehicle buying and selling activities in Bursa center and İnegöl, collected large amounts of money from citizens at gunpoint, and carried out armed attacks against people who did not accept to pay money and their workplaces, through hitmen they brought to Bursa from outside the city. They identified the addresses of people who came to Bursa from different provinces to buy vehicles on credit, and they beat these people by depriving them of their freedom, they intervened in debt and receivable issues that occurred between people due to the purchase and sale of vehicles, they gained unfair advantage by establishing so-called courts, and they went to the workplaces of people they threatened with death with a gun. It was determined that they confiscated the vehicles and their vehicles by force, transferred these goods to the members of the organization, gave the seized vehicles under the name of gifts to the leader of the organization under the force of arms and threats, and made armed attacks against the security forces during their criminal activities.
As a result of the operations, 15 unlicensed guns, many checks and promissory notes, and a large amount of cash were seized.
