Roof manufacturing is underway at Izmit Barrier-Free Life Center, one of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality's investments for disabled individuals. In line with its name, the building is being built as a completely 'barrier-free' building, considering all disability groups.
Reinforced concrete works have been completed in all blocks in Izmit Barrier-Free Life Center. Wooden roof manufacturing and roof covering manufacturing has been completed in all blocks. Thermal insulation works on the exterior continue.
PROJECT SUITABLE FOR DISABLED INDIVIDUALS
Izmit Barrier-Free Life Center, built within the Vinsan Campus, was designed as a closed area of 9.609 square meters on a total area of 6.176 square meters. The project was planned as a ground floor suitable for all types of disabled people. Reinforced concrete works have been completed in all blocks. The concrete of the lecture hall in the yellow courtyard was poured. Perimeter wall manufacturing and infrastructure construction continues. Gypsum plaster manufacturing, electrical and mechanical installation manufacturing continues in all blocks. Steel roof manufacturing has been completed in block A.
EVERYTHING HAS BEEN CONSIDERED
On the ground floor of the building, there is an independent living house, gym, hydrotherapy pool, male and female dressing-shower area, warehouse, dining hall, kitchen, teachers' room, prayer room, toilet-sink, support staff room, warehouse, mentally disabled group, coordinator room, sensory integration. room, autism group training room, autism individual training room, children's recreation room and play room were planned in the project. There are also two courtyards of 875 square meters and 450 square meters for therapy and hobby purposes for individuals and children, and a children's playground.
