Two New Fire Stations Started to Serve in Ankara

The fire stations, which were completed by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality in Çakirler and İncek and opened by Mayor Mansur Yavaş, started to serve.

The stations, which were completed in Yenimahalle Çakirler and Gölbaşı İncek by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department and opened by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, started to serve at full capacity.

Fire stations built in densely populated neighborhoods are designed to respond quickly and effectively to fire incidents.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department Head Levent Çeri, who said that they needed to build fire stations in developing and populated regions, said, “Our capital city previously served with 46 fire stations. However, we felt the need to build fire stations in developing regions with an increasing number of residences. One of them is İncek Martyr Firefighter Orçun Yaşar Fire Station... There are approximately 6 neighborhoods in the region and since it has a population of 71 thousand, there was an urgent need and we built a beautiful fire station. "Our vehicles and personnel are on duty to serve the region," he said.
