THE WORLD'S FURNITURE IS EXHIBITED IN A 25 THOUSAND M2 AREA

In the organization where İnegöl Furniture, which has been transforming trees into art for more than 500 years and has become a world brand in this field, is showcased with its half-century fair experience, around 25 manufacturers introduce the models and colors that will determine the trend of the new season to the buyers in a 2 thousand m200 exhibition area. İnegöl Furniture attracts the attention of those who come to the fair with its quality as well as original designs.

WE HAVE DONE OUR WORK FOR NEW INDUSTRIAL AREAS

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the fair, İnegöl Mayor Alper Taban emphasized that İnegöl is a fertile city; “We have very special companies and people here who start every new day with the excitement of producing furniture. I think they deserve all kinds of thanks. It is also very important for fairs to take place. Our city is actually like a fair open for 365 days. However, the furniture fairs we hold twice a year are also very exceptional days for us. I would like you to know that we, as local governments, are and will continue to struggle to remove obstacles to our furniture makers. As you know, with the new era, there are duties that fall on both the district municipality and the metropolitan municipality. Hopefully, we will work together on issues such as creating new industrial areas and building more qualified small industrial site areas. As İnegöl Municipality, we have already made plans in the last 2 years. “I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the fair,” he said.

İNEGÖL IS ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS AND OUR AGENDA

Former Minister of Industry and Technology and AK Party Bursa Deputy Mustafa Varank came to the podium at the opening ceremony and made evaluations. Expressing his wishes for the fair to be beneficial, Varank said: “50th Anniversary. We are at the opening of İnegöl Furniture Fair. I hope the fair will be beneficial. I have attended fairs in the past. İnegöl was always in our hearts and on our agenda, both during my ministry and when we were companions with our President. We have always kept any issue of these districts and Bursa on our agenda. Now, as the Lord has granted us, as Bursa Deputy, we continue to deal directly with the issues of both İnegöl and Bursa during this period.”

WE ARE STRUGGLE TO PAVE THE WAY FOR OUR EXPORTERS

“The furniture industry is really important for Turkey's economy. It is one of our favorite sectors with its exports, production capacity, employment and added value. The Ministry of Industry and Technology, the development agencies of the Ministry of Commerce and different institutions of our state always want this sector to move forward and become more value-added, by increasing the settlement rates in this sector, by ensuring that the companies producing here have healthier, more beautiful production facilities, and by paving the way for design. He provided many relevant supports to İnegöl. Hopefully, it will continue to provide this support in the coming period. Of course, one of the favorite centers of this sector is İnegöl. İnegöl is no longer just a well-known brand in furniture in Turkey. A well-known brand recognized all over the world. In fact, İnegöl Furniture has become an admired and preferred brand, especially in our nearby geography with which we have established a close bond. Today, our President is organizing a trip to Iraq. He is organizing a trip for the first time in many years. When we look at it, which is Turkey's number one export route in furniture exports? in Iraq. We, as politicians and as the government, are fighting hard to pave the way for our exporters and producers. “Hopefully, we will continue to fight this struggle in the coming period.”

“WE WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT ALL CITIZENS WHO PRODUCE AND PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT”

The last person to take the podium at the opening of the fair was Bursa Governor Mahmut Demirtaş. Governor Demirtaş said, “İnegöl is the second largest exporter in our country's furniture industry after Istanbul. It has managed to make a name for itself worldwide in production, quality and design. Undoubtedly, fairs contribute greatly to the economic size of the furniture industry, its contribution to employment and its highest share in exports. We must always be together to support each other, act together and overcome difficulties. We will continue to support all citizens who produce and provide employment. “I wish our participating companies abundant profits and success,” he said.
