Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş stated that the renovation works of taxi stands are continuing.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced that within the scope of the renovation of taxi stands, 46 stops have been completed and work continues at 18 stops. Mayor Yavaş said, "We are removing the unusable taxi stops that spoil the aesthetics of the city, and replace them with modern and comfortable stops for our tradesmen." said.
ABB Urban Aesthetics Department Urban Design Branch Manager Bergil Özdemir stated that they manufactured and put into service 4 additional taxi stands within 25 months. Bergil Özdemir said the following about the taxi stand renovation works:
"We continue to manufacture our self-designed taxi stands, by our Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Urban Aesthetics Department, in order to ensure that our taxi drivers can provide service in a comfortable environment, taking into account the city identity."
