Mayor Özcan Handed Over His Office to Primary School Student Ceren Şen

Keşan Mayor Op. Dr. Mehmet Özcan handed over the presidency to Kurtuluş Primary School 4th grade student Ceren Şen.

Informing Ceren Şen, who sat in the office, Mayor Özcan explained the work on municipal services. Mayor Özcan also shared the work to be done for children with Şen.

Ceren Şen said, “First of all, I would like to thank you on behalf of all children for giving us this opportunity.” He said: “I would like to thank Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who expressed his trust in our children enough to entrust the Republic to us children, who are the future of our Republic and the owners of tomorrow, for gifting us this holiday. Based on Atatürk's words, 'If Turkish Youth grow up healthy and do sports, the future of our nation is secure', we demand that the youth center be used more so that we can carry out our sports activities for children. We are very afraid of dogs wandering around in groups on the way to and from school. We ask your Veterinary Affairs Directorate to find a solution for dogs wandering the streets. We ask your Parks and Gardens Directorate to plant more trees in school gardens and to keep parks and playgrounds cleaner so that children can benefit from them better. Dear Mr. Mayor, I wish success to you, your management and all municipal staff in your assumed duty.”

President Özcan later expressed his satisfaction with the visit and thanked.
