Permanent Solution Message from Minister Koca to MHRS Problems

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca, in his post on his social media account, stated that they discussed the problems in the Central Physician Appointment System with their basic factors in the meetings they held with the relevant units of the Ministry and the managers of the hospitals.

Noting that they addressed the problems in MHRS with their basic factors in the meetings held with the relevant units of the Ministry and the managers of our hospitals, Minister Koca said, “We have achieved important results from the work we have done to solve the difficulties in finding an appointment. In the coming days, we will gradually implement measures and solve the appointment problem permanently.
We have created a solution to the appointment problem that will satisfy both our citizens and our physicians. "First of all, we will make our unused capacity, resulting from uncancelled appointments, available to other citizens," he said.

In this context; Stating that our citizens who do not cancel the appointment that they cannot attend will not be able to make an appointment in the same branch within 15 days in the first case of the situation in question, Minister Koca stated that if they do not come to the appointment for the second time, they will not be able to make an appointment in all branches within 15 days and said, "In order to avoid idle capacity due to last minute cancellations, we set the appointment cancellation period to the maximum." We limit late hours to 23.59 the day before. Instead of canceled appointments, we will be able to make new appointments up to 1 hour before the examination time. "In this way, we will ensure that more patients make appointments and the capacity is used efficiently," he said.
