MOTUL 2024 Turkey Karting Championship 1st leg races were held on 20-21 April at TOSFED Körfez Karting Track with the participation of a total of 5 athletes in 66 different categories, with intense audience interest.
In the organization organized by Bursa Uludağ Motorsports Club (BUMOSK) with the contributions of ICRYPEX, MOTUL and Batı Corporate, 5-year-old Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport Karting pilot Zayn Sofuoğlu, who received the title of Turkey's youngest karting pilot in the micro category, came first, Enes Hakkı Yeten came second, and Bulut Tırınk came third.
The winner of the mini category was Ali Fuat Miras from Dynamic Racing Team, while Efe Ayhan from BOM Karting team came second and Rüzgar Evci from the same team came third. The first 3 places in the junior category were Demir Sağım, Turhan Erin Ünlüdoğan, Ömer Ulaş Akbağ. In the Senior category, Dynamic Racing Team pilot Kerim Sulyak came first, Onur Müldür came second, and Leyla Sulyak came third. The first 3 places in the master category were Murathan Gür, İlyas Vurgeç and Barış Karadeniz.
In the women's senior category, Leyla Sulyak from Dynamic Racing Team won the first place, Ayşe Çebi from the same team won the second place, and Zeynep Çukurova won the third place. Dynamic Racing Team won the teams' first place in the season opening race.
