Indoor Parking Lot and City Square are Coming to Koru District

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues the construction works of the "Covered Parking Lot and City Square Project", which it started upon the demands from the residents of Koru Neighborhood.

The construction of the "Covered Parking Lot and City Square Project", which the Department of Technical Affairs has implemented on the vacant land that has been idle for years on Ankaralılar Street in Koru District, continues.

While the work on the project initiated by the Metropolitan Municipality in line with the demands from the residents of Koru District continues, the "Car Park and City Square" is aimed to be completed by the end of May.

Within the scope of the project, the idle vacant land, which will be turned into a city square, will include an ornamental pool, water curtains, amphitheater, observation terraces, seating areas and kiosks on a total of 483 thousand 9 square meters, 211 square meters of which will be closed.

In the lower part of the square; A closed parking lot of 12 thousand 952 square meters with a capacity of 330 normal vehicles, 23 electric vehicles and 22 disabled vehicles will be created. A modern and safe parking lot will be built with camera systems, automation infrastructure, ventilation and lighting systems, fire extinguishing and emergency directions.
