Directorate of Immigration Management to Recruit 382 Workers

A permanent recruitment announcement has been published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Directorate of Immigration Management! In accordance with the provisions of the Labor Law No. 4857 and the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles to be Applied in Recruiting Workers to Public Institutions and Organizations, personnel will be recruited through the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) for the permanent worker positions whose distribution is shown in the table below, to be employed under the command of our Presidency, Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.

FORM OF APPLICATION, PLACE AND DATE

Applications will be made online via the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) (esube.iskur.gov.tr) between 22/04/2024 – 26/04/2024. Applications submitted in person, by post or e-mail will not be accepted.

DRAW OPERATIONS

The draw of the candidates on the list sent by the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) will be held on 08/05/2024 at 10:30 at the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Immigration Management Assembly Hall (Hırka-i Şerif Mahallesi Adnan Menderes Bulvarı No: 64 Fatih It will be held in the presence of a notary public at /Istanbul). If there is a change in this specified date, an announcement regarding the new draw date will be made on the website of the Directorate of Migration Management. Among all applicants, 4 (four) times the number of open jobs and the same number of substitute candidates will be determined by lottery. The selected candidates will be announced on the website of the Directorate of Immigration Management (www.goc.gov.tr), and no separate written notification will be made to the candidates. Candidates who are determined as a result of the draw and meet the application requirements will be taken to the oral exam. Candidates will be able to participate in the draw to be held in the presence of a notary.

DOCUMENT DELIVERY PROCEDURES

The documents to be requested from the candidates determined as the main and reserve candidates as a result of the draw, as well as the location and dates of delivery of the documents, will be announced on the website of our Presidency (www.goc.gov.tr).

ORAL AND PRACTICAL EXAM PROCEDURES

1) The exam location and dates of the candidates who are determined to meet the specified conditions after reviewing the submitted documents and who are entitled to take the oral and practical exams will be announced on the website of the Directorate of Immigration Management (www.goc.gov.tr). No written notification will be made to the candidates.

2) The oral exam will be held to measure the candidates' professional knowledge and skills in the field of service and the professional competencies they will be responsible for, and in accordance with their education levels.

3) The practical exam will be held for the driver position, and the practical exam will be held at the vehicle in order to measure the candidates' driving skills, driving ability and knowledge of the driving profession.

4) In order to be considered successful in the practical exam, the arithmetic average of the scores to be given out of 100 full points must be at least 60 points. All candidates who are successful in the practical exam will be invited to the oral exam.

5) The oral exam score will be determined based on the arithmetic average of the scores given separately by the chairman and members of the examination board. In the oral exam, all candidates will be evaluated out of 100 (one hundred) full points. The score given will be used for the candidate's basis for appointment and success ranking. In order to be considered successful in the oral exam, at least 60 (sixty) points must be obtained.

In case of equality of success points, respectively; Based on the candidate's education level at the time of application, the success ranking will be determined starting from the highest score, giving priority to those who have completed a higher education, or if their education levels are the same, to those with a higher graduation score.

The examination board will determine the main and the same number of substitute candidates as the number of announced positions, starting from the candidate with the highest success score.

6) Candidates who are successful as main and reserve candidates as a result of the oral and practical exams; It will be announced on the website of the Directorate of Immigration Management (www.goc.gov.tr) so that each candidate can see his/her own results, and no separate written notification will be made to the candidates. Candidates who are entitled to take the oral and practical exams but do not take the exam on the announced exam date will be deemed to have lost their right to take the exam.

E) OBJECTION TO EXAM RESULTS

Candidates may appeal to the Examination Board within 5 (five) business days from the announcement of the oral and practical exam results. The objections made are decided by the Exam Board within 5 (five) business days after they are received by the Exam Board. The final decision is notified to the objector in writing. Petitions without TR ID number, name, surname, signature and address, objections made by fax or e-mail, and objections made after the deadline will not be taken into consideration.

APPOINTMENT PROCEDURES

1) Candidates who are eligible to be appointed will submit the documents requested by the Directorate of Immigration Management in person or by mail until the date to be specified later.

2) Those who are appointed must start their duties within 15 (fifteen) days from the notification of the appointment approval.

3) Those who give up their right to appointment and those who do not meet the required conditions will not be appointed. The appointments of those who have been appointed and who do not start their duties within 15 (fifteen) days from the notification of the appointment approval, without a legal excuse, will be cancelled. The contracts of those who are employed, if it is later determined that they do not meet the required conditions, will be terminated.

4) A two-month trial period will be applied for workers who are appointed and start working. The employment contract of workers who fail at the end of the trial period will be terminated without any notice period and without compensation.

5) Appointments can be made among the reserves according to the order in the success list, to the positions that remain vacant or vacant due to non-appointment for the above-mentioned reasons, cancellation of appointments or death and contract termination, not exceeding a period of one year from the date of finalization of the success ranking, until the announcement regarding the subsequent exam to be held for the same positions. . Those other than these will not be able to claim any rights.

G) OTHER MATTERS

1) Candidates are deemed to have accepted the shift working pattern and should not have any obstacle to working in shifts.

2) The exams of those who are found to have made false statements during the application and procedures will be deemed invalid and their appointments will not be made, and even if their appointments are made, they will be cancelled. A criminal complaint will be filed against these people to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to apply the relevant provisions of the Turkish Penal Code.

3) Information to be given to candidates at all stages of this exam, from application to recruitment, and the results of the oral exam will be announced on the website of the Presidency (www.goc.gov.tr) so that each candidate can see his/her own results.
