Hospital Appointments Not Confirmed 1 Day Before Will Be Considered Invalid!

The Ministry of Health has taken some measures to prevent confusion in MRHS appointments.

Minister of Health Dr. stated that they have taken radical measures to solve the problems in the Ministry of Health MRHS appointment system. Fahrettin Koca, "First measure to permanently solve the appointment problem: Appointments that are not confirmed 1 day in advance will be considered invalid. We started our work to permanently solve the appointment problem by gradually implementing new measures. The first measure we will implement will be to obtain confirmation from the patient, "I will come to my appointment." This approval will need to be given by 23.59 the day before the appointment. Since unconfirmed appointments will be considered canceled, we will give the appointment to someone else. "In this way, we will use the idle capacity created by last-minute cancellations efficiently," he said.

Appointments will be closed for 15 days for those who do not show up for their appointment.

Minister Koca said, “Those who do not come even though they have made an appointment and given approval will not be able to apply to any physician or health facility in the same branch. He/she will not be able to make repeated appointments at the same clinic. With a method that will be implemented soon, we will make appointments closed in all branches for a period of 15 days for those who made their second appointment but did not come to this appointment. The practices we have introduced to permanently solve the appointment problem will be followed by other measures as the process progresses. We all know the reasons that make the new application mandatory: Last year, 23 Million appointments were missed. In the first 3 months of this year, this number is 6 Million. Previously, we restricted those who made an appointment and did not show up to make another appointment within 15 days. This was useful, but it was possible for those who made an appointment to cancel at the last minute and there were no restrictions. 25 million of our citizens canceled a total of 81 million appointments at the last minute. Since we could not make new appointments for each of these vacancies, 21 million appointment capacity remained idle. "Such problems necessitate new practices."
