Governor Çiçek and Mayor Büyükkılıç Celebrated Tourism Week with Young People

Within the scope of the 48th Tourism Week Celebrations Program, Mayor Büyükkılıç, together with Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek and tourism sector stakeholders, visited Erdemli Valley, which has a dazzling nature that was brought to tourism with the cooperation of the Governorship and Metropolitan Municipality, and met with young people.

Within the scope of the work carried out in Erdemli Valley with the support of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and Kayseri Governorship, Governor Gökmen Çiçek and Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç was accompanied by Yeşilhisar District Governor Ahmet Ali Altıntaş, Yeşilhisar Mayor Halit Taşyapan, Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Şükrü Dursun and Metropolitan Municipality department heads during his trip to Yeşilhisar.

In his speech, Governor Çiçek said, “There are many heavenly places, but many people do not know about them because there is no proper promotion or explanation. It is true that we have heavenly treasures. However, we must explain this correctly by hitting the same point together. "We should consider it our duty to promote this city, not only the Metropolitan Municipality, not only the Governorship, not only the institutions, but all of Kayseri as a whole," he said.

Stating that this city welcomes us with its fertile lands and safe environment in the middle of Anatolia, Governor Çiçek said, “Those who grow up in this city add value to Turkey. This city deserves to be introduced with the added value of the products it produces and its contribution to exports. Therefore, if we accept today as a milestone, from now on, we will all try to enter a period where the flowing waters stop when we say Kayseri, both on social media and in all areas of life,” he said, adding that Kapuzbaşı Falls is the second waterfall in the world after Niagara Falls and that Erdemli Valley is completely different, like a movie set.
