Long-leaved, coniferous trees and shrubs that are both produced and supplied from domestic producers; It is planted in green areas, medians and parks throughout Ankara.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to implement "green-oriented" projects. After Göksu and Anadolu Boulevard Nurseries, ANFA General Directorate has now opened a new "Nursery" in BAKAP Agriculture Campus and Recreation Area.
NEW NURSERY FOR BAKAP
Within the scope of BAKAP Nursery, which was brought to Ankara for the third time and built on 41 decares of land; There are 45 thousand long-leaved, coniferous trees from 15 different species and 35 thousand shrubs from 250 different species. The nursery is irrigated with a state-of-the-art smart irrigation system, saving water and achieving greater efficiency.
Thanks to the smart irrigation system, the plant is given as much water as it needs, and fertilization and pesticide application are also carried out through this system.
SEEDLINGS ARE SUPPLIED FROM DOMESTIC PRODUCERS

ANFA General Directorate Landscape Deputy Manager Bünyamin Doruk said, “The nursery located in BAKAP Agriculture Campus was established on 41 decares of land. We have approximately 15 thousand leafy trees and 250 thousand bushes in this area. We have 3 nurseries across Ankara, these are BAKAP, Göksu and Anadolu Boulevard nurseries. We have approximately 45 different types of trees and 35 different types of shrubs in our nurseries. In 2023, we shipped approximately 100 thousand trees and 1,5 million bushes. In addition, our Casanova nursery, the construction of which we started in Kahramankazan, has become operational. We plan to accommodate 17 thousand leafy trees and 10 thousand bushes in the nursery built on 250 decares of land. We supply the plants in our nurseries primarily from our domestic producers throughout Ankara, and the rest from our domestic producers throughout Turkey at the most affordable prices. "We adapt these saplings and plant them in green areas, medians and parks," he said.
A TOTAL OF 2023 MILLION 1 THOUSAND TREES AND SHRUBS WERE SHIPPED IN 600
The Metropolitan Municipality, which has brought 3 new nurseries to Ankara in the last 3 years, carries out production in the Anadolu Boulevard Nursery with an area of 13 thousand square meters and 500 thousand bushes and shrubs, while it has 27 thousand leafy and coniferous trees in an area of 12 thousand square meters next to Göksu Park, which is not used very actively. He also restored the Göksu Nursery he bought and brought it to full capacity service.
The construction of the Casanova Nursery, which has a capacity of hosting 17 thousand trees and 10 thousand bushes on an area of 250 thousand square meters in Kahramankazan district, was completed and put into service.
In 2023, a total of 100 million 1,5 thousand plants, including 1 thousand tall leafy and coniferous trees and approximately 600 million shrubs, were shipped from nurseries to be planted throughout Ankara.
