The flying car industry is rapidly advancing. China also leads in this field. Chinese regulatory authorities are racing to approve vertical take-off and landing vehicles called eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing). These vehicles can take off vertically from their position, just like helicopters, and fly at high speeds like airplanes.
Kellen Xie, Vice President of eVTOL company affiliated with AutoFlight Group, told the Financial Times newspaper that the China Civil Aviation Administration provides serious support to this flourishing industry.
In the same statement, Xie stated that China Civil Aviation Administration officials have been working long hours on this issue and indeed seem determined to accelerate the process of making this new technology a daily reality.
