Four Seasons in One in Turkey

The General Directorate of Meteorology published the weather forecast report for Friday, April 5.

According to the latest evaluations, the northern, central and eastern parts of Turkey are partly cloudy and sometimes very cloudy, the Taurus region of the Mediterranean, the east of Central Anatolia, the Central and Eastern Black Sea, the west of Eastern Anatolia and the Sinop surroundings are showery and occasionally cloudy. It was predicted that there would be noisy showers and sleet in the highlands of the northeastern part of Eastern Anatolia.

It was noted that there is a risk of avalanche, snow melt and landslide in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea Region and in the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.

While it is estimated that temperatures will decrease by 2 to 4 degrees in the northern and central parts of the country and that there will be no significant change in other places, the wind will be light and occasionally moderate in the western and central parts of the country, from the north and west in the eastern parts, and from the south in the eastern parts, and occasionally strong in the east of Eastern Anatolia (40 -60 km/h) winds are expected.

AVALANCHE DANGER AND SNOW MELT WARNING

Three separate warnings were included in the daily weather forecast report of Meteorology.

While it is desired to be careful and cautious as there is avalanche danger, snow melt and landslide risk on the sloped slopes with high snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and in the north and east of Eastern Anatolia, the wind is strong (40-60 km/h) from the southerly directions in the east of Eastern Anatolia.
