Foreign Investors' Confidence in Chinese Bonds Has Peaked

The amount of Chinese bonds held by foreign investors recorded a net increase of 2024 billion dollars in the first quarter of 41,6. This amount shows that the total foreign bond assets of 2023 billion dollars recorded in 23 have almost doubled.

Wang stated that overseas investment in domestic bonds has a reasonable structure and provides stable returns. In this context, foreign central banks and financial institutions increased medium-long-term investments such as treasury bills.
Considering future developments, Wang expects foreign institutional investments in Chinese bonds to show steady growth. This process; It is thought to be supported by a sound macroeconomic environment, a balanced yuan exchange rate, and the increasing use of the yuan in global cross-border transactions.
