Export Leaders of the Air Conditioning Industry were Rewarded

Air Conditioning Industry Exporters' Association (İSİB) presented its awards to the companies that exported the most in the sector in 2023 and 2022, following the 2023 Ordinary General Assembly.

Air Conditioning Industry Exporters Association (İSİB), which continues its activities at full speed with the aim of gathering all exporting companies operating in the air conditioning sector under one roof and increasing the export potential of the sector, held its Ordinary General Assembly meeting in Ankara on April 18. Following the meeting, the Export Leaders Award Ceremony was held, where companies in the air conditioning sector were awarded in 23 different categories. Speaking at the ceremony where awards were given to the companies that played an effective role in the export of air conditioning industry products and made the most exports in 2022 and 2023, İSİB Chairman Mehmet Şanal said, “We were proud to achieve our export target of 7,2 percent this year. "Our goal in 2024 is to achieve 8 billion dollars of exports, 7,8 percent higher than this year," he said.

The Ordinary General Assembly meeting of İSİB, the global power of the Turkish air conditioning industry, was held on Thursday, April 18, with a wide participation. At the General Assembly, while the current state of the sector was evaluated, future strategies and new targets were determined. Mehmet Şanal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of İSİB, in his presentation at the General Assembly; While evaluating the air conditioning sector and conveying the latest developments, he emphasized that they aim to grow the sector and increase its international competitiveness with innovative and sustainable solutions. At the 2023 Export Leaders Award Ceremony, held on the same day as the Ordinary General Assembly meeting, the companies that made the most exports in the air conditioning sector in 2022 and 2023 were awarded in different categories. Members of the İSİB Board of Directors and Auditors, board members of the companies, professional managers and industry stakeholders attended the award ceremony.

Mehmet Şanal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of İSİB, made the following statements about the award ceremony: “The Turkish air conditioning industry closed the year 2023 with exports of 7,2 billion dollars. While the sector's exports reached an all-time high, the ratio of exports to imports was 90 percent. The export level we aim to reach as a sector in 2024 is 7,8 billion dollars. As the air conditioning industry, we aim to get a 1,5 percent share of world exports. I would like to thank the export leaders of the sector who contributed to this successful table. Your outstanding success is very valuable for the Turkish air conditioning industry to have a greater say in the global arena and to experience a global rise. This year, as in previous years, we will do better together and continue to work determinedly to continue the successful performance of our industry.”
