Eşrefpaşa Hospital Additional Service Building Will Be Built!

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Eşrefpaşa Hospital, Turkey's first and only municipal hospital, is putting out a tender for the construction of an additional service building. The tender will be held on Friday, May 3, at 10.30 at Kültürpark Hall No. 3. The winning company will complete the construction of the new 7-storey building within 730 days.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Eşrefpaşa Hospital will build a new additional service building of approximately 11 thousand square meters. Eşrefpaşa Hospital will serve its patients with its modern building, with the construction starting after the tender to be held on Friday, May 3, in Kültürpark Hall No. 3 at 10.30.

Izmir residents will have a fully equipped municipal hospital

Eşrefpaşa Hospital Chief Physician Op. Dr. Yavuz Uçar stated that after the Izmir earthquake on October 116, 30, the buildings containing pediatric, newborn, gynecology, delivery rooms and emergency services at Eşrefpaşa Hospital, which has been serving in Izmir for 2020 years, became unusable. "Following the construction of a new 7-storey building, two floors of which are basements, so that the hospital can serve the people of Izmir at full capacity, the people of Izmir will have a modern and fully-equipped municipal hospital with our expert doctors in their fields," he said.

6 operating rooms 34 patient rooms

The 11-storey new building of 7 thousand square meters will have 6 operating rooms, emergency service, emergency x-ray, emergency laboratory, operating room, neonatal intensive care and normal intensive care, gynecology and pediatric services and 34 patient rooms. With this building, the service capacity lost on October 30 will be restored.
