Izmir Metropolitan Municipality ESHOT General Directorate will make temporary route changes on some ESHOT and İZTAŞIT lines due to Marathon İzmir to be run on Sunday, April 21. Bostanlı-Üçkuyular Ferry connected to İZDENİZ will not operate between 08.30-12.00 on the same day. Cruise ship services will be organized instead. For easy transportation of marathon participants, starting from 05.30 Bostanlı-Karşıyaka-Ring services will be made between passport piers.
The 5th Marathon Izmir, organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Sports Department, will be run on Sunday, April 21. Due to the marathon, approximately 5 thousand athletes of various age groups are expected to participate. İZTAŞIT lines No. 602, 608, 660 and 800, following the existing route, Yeni Kyrenia, İzmir Ring Road (Bayraklı Tunnels), Kaptan İbrahim Hakkı Street, Manas Boulevard, Ankara Street and Bornova Metro routes.
ESHOT lines 470, 680, 681 and 691, which make their last stop at Lausanne Square, will make their last stop in Bahri Baba area with a variant route after Eşrefpaşa Street.
Line 202 will depart from the last stops in front of Konak AKM and provide service towards the airport via Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard. On the way back, the last stop will be in front of AKM.
Departure route of line 253; It will be in front of Halkapınar 2 Transfer Center, Mürsel Paşa, Yeşildere Street, Konak Tunnel, Konak AKM. The return route will be in front of Konak AKM, Mithat Paşa Street, 334/3 Street (Sabancı Cultural Center), Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard, Konak Tunnel, Yeşildere, Mürsel Paşa, Halkapınar 2 Transfer Center.
