Karacabey Mayor Fatih Karabati handed over his presidential chair to Baran Karataş, a student of TOKİ Martyr Captain Erhan Kındır Primary School, within the scope of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.
After the meeting, President Karabati welcomed the little students at the door and handed over his office to the children. During the meeting, students delivered their requests for Karacabey in writing and signed to Mayor Fatih Karabati. Among the demands of the students were a shopping center where they could have fun and increased traffic measures such as overpasses and such in all schools for the safety of the students.
In his speech during his visit to Karabati, the Mayor touched upon the importance of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day and emphasized that our children, whom Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk entrusted to children and who have been the guarantee of our future for 104 years, have been embraced and protected by them. Karabati 'our children are the future of today and the hope of tomorrow. It is our duty to raise children who look to the future with hope. I congratulate the children's day of our country and all the world's children with the hope that all children of the world live in a good world. "I remember with gratitude our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the unity and integrity of our country, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms," he said.
Karabati also touched upon the importance of today for Karacabey and stated that they were very proud that the opening prayer of the Turkish Grand National Assembly was made by Mustafa Fehmi Gerçeker from Karacabey.
After the visit, Karabatis, who received the students' demands in writing and signed, congratulated the children's day and wished them success in their classes. He presented a gift, reiterating that he was always waiting for their requests and demands regarding Karabati municipality and Karacabey.
