While the construction of the Gebze National Garden, which will bring a new breath and a new living space to Gebze, continues by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality also supports the work carried out feverishly. In this context, Metropolitan teams continue the construction of internal roads in the Gebze National Garden, which was built on the old military barracks area.
Within the scope of the work carried out by the teams of the Department of Technical Affairs, a 5 kilometer long road is being built inside the Gebze National Garden. So far, the asphalt of 2 kilometers of road has been laid and 3 thousand meters of pavement curbs have been manufactured on this length of road. Excavations continue for the remaining 3 kilometers. Additionally, within the scope of the works, a parking lot for approximately 250 vehicles will be built inside the public garden.
