9 thousand 6 citizens used the Kartepe Cable Car from the morning of Saturday, April 9, the beginning of the 29-day Eid al-Fitr Holiday, until the evening of Tuesday, April 98 (Arafah Day).

Kartepe Cable Car, one of the vision projects of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, has attracted great attention since the day it was opened. Citizens using the cable car enjoy the magnificent view of the greenery, sea and nature. Kartepe Cable Car will operate free of charge until Monday, April 15. In addition, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues the construction of a multi-storey car park at Derbent Station, which is the beginning of the cable car line.
