April 23 Gift in Public Transportation

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, referring to the decision published in the Official Gazette dated April 4 with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, announced that transportation services will be free of charge in public transportation vehicles affiliated with the ministry in Ankara and Istanbul.

Minister Uraloğlu stated that they took all kinds of precautions as the ministry due to the 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day, and added that on the 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day, Başkentray, operated by TCDD Taşımacılık affiliated with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Marmaray in Istanbul, Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Rail System. line, Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport-Arnavutköy-Metro line and Izmir announced that İZBAN will provide free service.
