Osmangazi Mayor Mustafa Dündar, who takes care to experience the abundance, unity and solidarity with the citizens during Ramadan, met with the headmen working in the district at the second iftar of Ramadan.
Osmangazi Mayor Mustafa Dündar went around the tables one by one and shook hands with each of the headmen individually before the iftar time. After the evening adhan was recited, we all broke the fast by praying together. Mayor Dündar, in his speech to the headmen after the meal, said, “As every year, we organize iftar programs during Ramadan and experience the unity and solidarity of Ramadan by being together at crowded tables. Osmangazi Square, where we set the iftar tables today, emerged as a work that breathes life into Bursa. We have come to the end of the first stage. Our work will continue for the second stage. Recently, we organized concerts in this giant square and brought important artists together with our citizens. Now, with the month of Ramadan, we are setting up iftar tables in this square. “We came together with our valuable headmen at our first iftar in the square.” said.
AK Party Bursa Deputy Refik Özen stated that Osmangazi Municipality has brought important projects to Bursa so far and said, “This is what we mean when we say that local governments should be tripartite and strong. We see what can be achieved with the harmonious work of the metropolitan municipality, district municipality and central administration. Now we are on the eve of an important election. “I wish success to our mayors and our mukhtars.” he said.
In his speech, AK Party Bursa Deputy Muhammed Müfit Aydın thanked Osmangazi Mayor Mustafa Dündar for the works he brought to Bursa and said, “Our headmen know well that our Osmangazi Municipality can do the projects that the government, which we used to call general budget, could not do in 10 years in 1-2 years. Thank God, all our provinces and districts that met with AK Party Municipality benefited from this. "As long as we walk together with our headmen, our mayors, our MPs and our President, we will leave a better future for our children." he said.
Burhan Mandacı, President of Osmangazi Mukhtars Association, thanked Mayor Dündar for the iftar invitation and said, "When my guests came from abroad, I showed them around Panorama 1326 Bursa Conquest Museum and Adventure Bursa in Hamitler. They asked me whether these works were made by the government. I said that it was built by the hard-working mayor of our Osmangazi. They were really surprised. They said that such works abroad were made by the state. When we heard these, we were once again proud of our president Mustafa Dündar. On March 31, both us muhtars and our president will be in the elections. "I hope we will all be together again after March 31," he said.
