Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, which established Turkey's most equipped and comprehensive local seed center and distributed 18 million local seeds throughout Turkey to date, has completed the distribution of 2024 million seeds consisting of 120 local species planted for 1.
93 ancestral seeds were included in the inventory at the Metropolitan Municipality Local Seed Center, which was established on October 29, 2016, in the 976rd year of the Republic, with the slogan "Local Seed National Power". The distribution of 120 types of ancestral seeds obtained from these local seeds started on February 1, 2024, and 100 Million seeds were distributed on the 1th anniversary of the Republic.
