Athletes competing for Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor continue to be the pride of Konya in national and international competitions.
The European Throws Cup held in Leiria, Portugal has ended. Muhammet Hanefi Zengin from Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor athletics team came second in javelin throw, won the silver medal and represented Konya successfully.
Zengin, who took part in the Javelin Throw in the U2 category in the 23-day championship, won the silver medal for our country by throwing 76.15 m (PB), the best time of the season, in the second half. The successful athlete, who came second in Europe with his shot, collected 1.046 points.
On the other hand, our men's national team, including Muhammet from Büyükşehir Belediyespor, won the silver medal in the U23 European Throwing Cup, coming second after Germany, with 3.863 points.
