It is carried out by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of SOGEP (Social Development Support Programme), a grant program carried out throughout Turkey by Development Agencies under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, with the aim of reducing youth unemployment, increasing their professional competencies and supporting their career development by making young people better equipped. The closing program of the “Qualified Young, Strong Denizli” project was held. The closing program of the project held at the Metropolitan Municipality Nihat Zeybekci Congress and Culture Center was attended by Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan, City Council President Ali Değirmenci, GEKA Secretary General Özgür Akdoğan, İŞKUR Director Fatih Işık, Denizli Youth and Sports Provincial Director Ömer İlman, trainees and guests attended. In his speech here, Mayor Zolan stated that they are happy to offer opportunities that will make a difference to young people in the age of informatics and software, considering that knowledge is the greatest power.
A NICE COOPERATION
GEKA Secretary General Özgür Akdoğan stated that they cooperated well with the Metropolitan Municipality and other institutions with the "Qualified Young, Strong Denizli" project, and that they strived for young people receiving education to have a share in the digital world, and thanked everyone who contributed to this project. Metropolitan Municipality City Council Youth Assembly President Tunahan Biden congratulated the trainees who completed the training and thanked Mayor Osman Zolan for preparing and offering them this opportunity. After the speech, Mayor Osman Zolan and his entourage gave certificates to the young people who participated in the project and certificates of appreciation to the educators.
PRIVATE LABORATORY
Under the coordination of the South Aegean Development Agency (GEKA), in cooperation with Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Acıpayam Municipality, Denizli Employment Agency, Pamukkale University (PAÜ) Technology Transfer Office (TEKNOKENT) and Denizli National Education Directorate, 65 young people were trained for approximately 4 months within the scope of the project. . Young people were given 4 different software languages and 1 electronic design training with the program carried out in the specially prepared software laboratory and mechatronics workshop at the Metropolitan Municipality Nihat Zeybekci Congress and Culture Center. In the software laboratory, web application development with C# and Unity, .Net MVC and Entity Framework, web application development with PHP and MySQL, mobile application development with React Native; In the mechatronics workshop, training was given on topics such as Arduino, basic electronics courses, electronic card and 3D design courses.
