BTSO, the umbrella organization of Bursa business world, organized a B2B organization with wide participation in Lithuania, which has the largest economy among the Baltic countries. On the first day, Vilnius Commercial Counselor Ümit Ateşağaoğlu gave information to the BTSO delegation, which included representatives of the machinery and automotive sub-industry sectors, about the Lithuanian market and the advantages it offers. 'Turkey-Lithuania Business Forum' organized by BTSO was held at the Lithuanian Parliament Seimas. For the first time, a delegation of Turkish companies signed the forum in the Lithuanian parliament. In this program, BTSO Chairman of the Board of Directors, İbrahim Burkay, gave information about the economy of Bursa and Turkey to the members of the Lithuanian parliament and the business world.

INTEREST IN BURSA IN LITHUANIA
Within the scope of the program, machinery and automotive sector representatives met with Lithuanian sector representatives in the B2B organization. During the intense meetings, many representatives of the Lithuanian business world evaluated cooperation opportunities with companies from Bursa. Within the scope of the program, BTSO Chairman of the Board of Directors İbrahim Burkay and the Republic of Turkey Ambassador to Vilnius Görkem Barış Tantekin also met with companies from Bursa. BTSO delegation also included Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Cüneyt Şener, BTSO Board Member Alparslan Şenocak, BTSO Deputy Chairman of the Assembly Murat Bayizit, BTSO Energy Council President Erol Dağlıoğlu, assembly and committee members as well as Lithuanian Bursa Honorary Consul Berat Tunakan.

BTSO Chairman of the Board of Directors, İbrahim Burkay, said that they continue projects for export-oriented growth of the sectors. Noting that the UR-GE projects organized under the leadership of BTSO with the support of the Ministry of Commerce strengthened the exports of member companies, President Burkay stated that they successfully completed the program in Lithuania. Noting that a delegation from Turkey organized a business forum in the Lithuanian parliament for the first time, Mayor Burkay said, “The Lithuanian business program will offer new opportunities to companies from Bursa. As BTSO, we will continue to guide our companies on their export-oriented growth journey.” said.

BTSO Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Cüneyt Şener stated that Lithuania is a market open to development for Turkey and said, “Our sector stakeholders are aware of this and formed the delegation with the largest participation in Turkey. An important B2B organization was organized under the leadership of BTSO. Lithuanian companies showed great interest. There is serious potential in this geography. Trade Counselor Ümit Ateşağaoğlu said that the trade volume between Turkey and Lithuania has become stronger recently. COOPERATIONS WITH UR-GE ARE GETTING STRONGER
NOSAB President and UR-GE Member Erol Gülmez said that they encountered a large business world interest in Lithuania that wants to cooperate. Gülmez said, “There were a lot of meeting requests in the B2B organization. Many companies will leave by gaining new customers. It was a good business trip for the industry. "Relations will develop with the contribution of BTSO's UR-GE projects," he said. UR-GE Member Engin Çetiner stated that they encountered a great business potential in Lithuania and that they will reap the fruits of this in the coming period. UR-GE Member Yasin Topak stated that they had fruitful business negotiations with many companies and that they will conduct a separate study in the Lithuanian market. UR-GE Member Emre Bahtiyar said that he came to Lithuania for the first time and that they did not expect to encounter such interest from Lithuanian companies.

The BTSO delegation was also accompanied by Sarp Demiray, President of the Turkish Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce, throughout the program. Stating that the chamber was established at the beginning of this year to establish trade bridges between Lithuania and Turkey, Demiray said, “We want companies from Bursa to exist in Lithuania. We hosted the largest Turkish delegation in Lithuania from Bursa. The commercial atmosphere here was quite high. “I believe that this interest will turn into business in the near future.” said.

On the other hand, within the scope of the program, the BTSO delegation visited Elinta Motors and Elinta Robotics companies in Kaunas. The delegation also received information from Vytas Petruzis, Director General of the Kaunas Free Economic Zone, about the conditions for investing in the free zone and the opportunities offered.
