THY Press Advisor Yahya Üstün announced that 6 thousand 13 citizens were evacuated by 13 flights between 182-613 February, and that they are planning to evacuate 89 citizens from the earthquake zones with 16 flights today.
In a statement on the subject on his social media account, Üstün said, “Between 6-13 February; With 1041 expeditions, we delivered a search-rescue and aid team of 186 people to the earthquake zones. We evacuated 790 thousand 1013 citizens with 182 expeditions. We shipped 613 tons of relief materials to disaster areas with 108 cargo flights. Today (February 6708), we will continue to evacuate 14 citizens from the earthquake zones with the 89 expeditions we have planned. We will continue to carry relief supplies to earthquake zones with 16 cargo flights we will perform today. We started to send transport cages to our stations so that our citizens in the earthquake area can be taken to the plane with their pets. You can make free ticketing transactions for evacuation flights through our mobile application and website. Our free reservations continue for our evacuation flights. Citizens who do not have a reservation are admitted to the plane in order if there is a place on the flights.
