Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay said that the Oral and Dental Health Diagnosis and Treatment Tool, which they implemented together with Konya Chamber of Dentists as Konya Metropolitan Municipality, started to serve in Defne District of Hatay. Nebil Seyfettin, Head of Hatay Chamber of Dentists, said, “Oral and dental health services could not be provided in the center of Hatay. Today, the mobile oral and dental health center sent by Konya Metropolitan Municipality will offer this service to many of our people. We would like to thank our Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and our friends in Konya Chamber of Dentists.”
Oral and Dental Health Diagnosis and Treatment Tool, implemented by Konya Metropolitan Municipality together with Konya Chamber of Dentists, started to serve earthquake victims in Hatay.
Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay said that they have mobilized all the possibilities of Konya to bring Hatay back to its feet after the disaster of the century. Mayor Altay said, “As the Metropolitan Municipality, we are trying to contribute to the health of our earthquake victims as much as we can while working to meet all kinds of humanitarian needs such as infrastructure, logistics, water works, mobile kitchens, communication and energy supply in the earthquake zone. In this context, our Oral and Dental Health Diagnosis and Treatment Tool, which we have implemented with our Konya Chamber of Dentists, has started to serve in the Defne district of Hatay for our earthquake victims. As Konya, we will continue to do our part in meeting all the needs of our brothers from Hatay. God bless our state," he said.
“WE CAME TO BE MERCHANT TO PAIN”
Mete Algen, President of Konya Chamber of Dentists, said, “As all dentists and dental sector from Konya, we came to Hatay with the bus allocated to us by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, the content of which is equipped like a dental clinic. We are here to be a balm for pain. Hopefully we will provide dental treatment service. Together with our volunteer dentists coming from Konya, Karaman and Aksaray as well as from all over Turkey, we will provide this service here for our earthquake victims.
