İzmir Village Theaters Meet the Audience Again

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Village Theatres, consisting of volunteer participants from 7 to 70 villages of İzmir, will open their curtains under the name “BizBiz” on February 4-8. The first play will be staged at the Bademler Village Theatre, which was established 90 years ago.

The first of the meetings will be held on Saturday, February 4th at 20.00:XNUMX at the Urla Bademler Village Theater with the play “Diary of a Madman”.

Village Theater Meetings will be held for four days in Urla, Seferihisar, Foça, Aliağa, Ödemiş and Menderes, with the slogan “There is no dirt in the hands that touch art”. Each village will introduce village theatrical style plays to the audience, based on their own story.

We aim to increase cultural interaction with Village Theater Meetings. In addition, we try to learn the lives, traditions, dialect and local dances of the villages, inspired by the village institutes, and then present them. In this way, we reveal the memory of the land and the region and ensure that it remains for future generations. Our meetings will continue with other village theaters throughout the year.”
