İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Village Theatres, consisting of volunteer participants from 7 to 70 villages of İzmir, will open their curtains under the name “BizBiz” on February 4-8. The first play will be staged at the Bademler Village Theatre, which was established 90 years ago.

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Village Theaters Meetings, which will bring together theater workers who leave the villages of İzmir and turn to art, will be held under the name “We are Us” on February 4-8. The first of the meetings will be held on Saturday, February 4th at 20.00:XNUMX at the Urla Bademler Village Theater with the play “Diary of a Madman”.
Village Theater Meetings will be held for four days in Urla, Seferihisar, Foça, Aliağa, Ödemiş and Menderes, with the slogan “There is no dirt in the hands that touch art”. Each village will introduce village theatrical style plays to the audience, based on their own story.

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Village Theater Meetings aim to enable villages to get to know each other and to interact with culture and tradition. In addition to theatrical plays, food and beverage and handicraft workshops will also be held at the meeting.

The more people we bring the theater together, the more the social life of the city will be entrusted to a community with a developed awareness. We aim to increase cultural interaction with Village Theater Meetings. In addition, we try to learn the lives, traditions, dialect and local dances of the villages, inspired by the village institutes, and then present them. In this way, we reveal the memory of the land and the region and ensure that it remains for future generations. Our meetings will continue with other village theaters throughout the year.”
